Job Title: HR Assistant
Duration: 6-8 month contract
Location: Onsite in Tigard, Oregon
Compensation: $24-$27 per hour
Hours: M-F, full time, 8am-5pm
Job Description:
LHH Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to join our client's team on a contract basis. If you have a year or more of experience within HR, we would like to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records and processing documentation.
- Support the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and coordinating onboarding activities.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of HR-related communications and documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years or more of previous experience in an HR support role or administrative position.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience using HRIS.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
